When we have a root chakra imbalance, whether it is underactive or overactive, we may experience symptoms in the chakra’s connected areas. Here are a few examples:

Simply observe how your mind continues to generate negative thoughts such as “I’m not good enough,” “What if I get sick,” “I’m not worthy of success,” “Nobody likes me,” “I don’t look good,” “I’m not confident,” “I’m not capable,” “I don’t have the courage,” and many more.

When we function unwittingly in auto-pilot mode, we ingrain negative thoughts in our subconscious minds. That is why we are agitated and anxious all of the time.

What is required is the transformation of this negative thought pattern into a good one. For example, if you’re experiencing a lot of stress at this point in your life, keep telling yourself, “I’ll be okay, I’ll be taken care of, I’m relaxed and cool.”

This may seem ludicrous at first, and you may not believe it, but as you repeat these positive affirmations, your mind will gradually begin to believe in them.

The easiest technique to practice root chakra affirmations is to visualize a red object in your mind as you repeat the sentences.

Affirmations can be a strong tool for unblocking the first chakra. Use it on a daily basis for better effect.

How to Open the Root Chakra?

Re-establish your connection with mother earth to open your root chakra. The base or seed of consciousness is represented by root energy. When you connect with the earth element, you anchor yourself and allow healing to occur.
